Okanagan Appraisals Ltd. was incorporated on January 19, 1993 and commenced operation on March 1, 1994 under the direction of Donald A. Gordon, RI, FRI, AACI, P. App. Okanagan Appraisals originated in Kelowna in the early 1980's as an unregistered company and was purchased in 1990 by Kent Macpherson Appraisals. Ownership of Okanagan Appraisals Ltd. transferred to Don Gordon along with the entire residential portfolio of Kent Macpherson Appraisals and Okanagan Appraisals in January 1994; residential appraisal data dating back to 1973.
In such a rapidly changing industry, Okanagan Appraisals Ltd. has made the continual upgrading of computer network programs and equipment a priority. One of the most advanced automated real estate appraisal offices in the industry dedicated to providing professional estimates of real estate valuations supported by market evidence. From Kelowna or one of our home/office appraisers throughout our area of coverage we can provide quick and efficient appraisal services for any property in the Okanagan Valley.
Okanagan Appraisals Ltd. purchased Raffard Associates Realty Appraisers Inc. of Penticton on March 1, 1997 primarily for their commercial portfolio. Raffard Associates Realty Appraisers Inc. was an established commercial real estate appraisal firm in the South Okanagan serving financial institutions as well as government ministries.
AACI real estate appraisers provide our commercial appraisal services. The depth of experience and knowledge offered by the commercial appraisers meets or exceeds the expectations of commercial clients. All reports complete to CUSPAP standards of the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
